From being hired straight out of university putting pitch books together to working on the trading floor for companies such as Deutsche Bank and Renaissance Capital, she has never looked back.
Jordan lives in the UK with her husband, the double Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell, and their dogs and cats, balancing her career goals with being a stepmother of three, writing, advocating for more women to enter finance, and inspiring the next generation to manage money and excel in the industry.

New Music Release: Gordon Gekko

Jordan Cracknell makes a bold entrance into the music scene with her debut single, ‘Gordon Gekko‘, a high-octane house/dance anthem produced by Love Island music producer Tom Marlow and co- written with Ronniee.

Inspired by the iconic 1987 film Wall Street, and the viral hit, “I’m Looking for a Man in Finance”, Cracknell flips the narrative with a feminist twist-channelling the ambition and edge of Michael Douglas’ infamous character through a fresh, female lens.

Drawing sonic inspiration from the likes of Marina, Fred Again.. and Raye, ‘Gordon Gekko is a pulsing, 80s-infused power track that fuses retro synths with dancefloor-ready beats.

You Can Count On Penny

“Lovely book to read with my children.” -Amazon reviewer

At the tip of the Arctic lies Frostbrook, a village where arctic foxes perform specific jobs passed down through generations. Penny Icepaw’s family gathers ice, but Penny’s passion is mathematics, seeing the magic of numbers everywhere.
When Mr. Pound, in charge of the village’s resources and its fish and berries trade, retires without anyone to pass the job down to, Penny proposes to take over, using her love of maths to organise and improve Frostbrook. Will Penny convince the village to let her take a new path, something that no arctic fox has done before?

You Can Count on Penny is a book for children aged six and upwards, written by financier Jordan Cracknell to inspire a generation of future little financiers to embrace their love of mathematics and pursue their dream job, no matter how out of reach it may seem.

It is available in paperback on Amazon now, with proceeds from the book being donated to Education & Employers, with the vision of providing children and young people with the inspiration, motivation, knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to help them achieve their potential. Education and Employers run the “Primary Futures” programme, which helps children understand the link between their education and future careers.
